The 2022-23 season comes to a close...

With the final performance of Garsington Opera's The Bartered Bride, the 2022-23 season comes to an end!

I debuted two new roles (Gesler, Guillaume Tell and Kecal, The Bartered Bride) this year, and performed with Irish National Opera for the first time.

David as Gesler in Irish National Opera's 'Guillaume Tell'

With both The Bartered Bride and Guillaume Tell getting 5-star reviews from various publications, it's been a hugely satisfying year.

For anyone who missed Guillaume Tell at INO, you can see the whole thing on YouTube for free HERE - I enter as Gesler in Act III, at the 2 hour 15 mark.

As well as the exciting performances I took part in this year, I've also updated this very website, and OperaGarb has been going from strength to strength. It's a fun creative outlet for my terrible jokes, and I've had great fun coming up with new designs!

If you ever want something unique and special, get in touch and I can create something just for you!

Next season promises to be a hugely exciting one, with debuts at 2 opera houses, returns to 2 others, and my first, small foray into the world of Wagner!

But first - Summer Holidays!!

David
